Policies and Procedures of the Austin Polymer Clay Guild

To promote meetings that are more orderly and establish privileges and responsibilities of APCG members, the following rules, regulations and procedures have been adopted.

Please submit you previous month’s rental/check out to the appropriate officer – Betty Riggle for books and videos – Karen Omodt for cutters and texturing tools.

Check out for library and material library items

Demonstrators are to be reimbursed for clay and other products used in a demo. He or she must contact the stock keeper, treasurer or president prior to the meeting so that the clay or other product is available.

Members who want to order supplies; books or videos for the guild must propose the purchase at meetings. All purchases must be approved in advance.

Only members in good standing, i.e. who are up to date in their membership fee and who do not have library materials overdue will be allowed to borrow books or rent videos, cutters and texturing tools.

Members can rent up to two videos.

Members can rent up to three items from the materials library.

Member can check out three books at no charge

Members in good standing who plan to take classes in polymer clay techniques are eligible for a stipend of up to $50.00 per year. To qualify, a member must notify the guild treasurer or president before the class date and show proof of having attended the class.
